The ONE Thing I Did to Level-Up My Dancing Like Never Before

Sometimes, improving your dance (or setting dance goals) doesn’t have to be about learning something new.

It can be as simple as unlearning a bad habit in your muscle memory so that you can get even better.

One of the best things I’ve done for myself in my dance improvement journey in my earlier days was to fix my bad habit of taking big steps. Yes, I suffered from that too… 😅

This one bad habit was creating so many weight shift and messy footwork problems for me, and I tried so many other ways to fix them until one day, when I finally realized that that taking big steps was the root of all these problems. 🤦🏻‍♀️

That was the ONE BAD HABIT I needed to fix to transform the way I dance completely!

Once I fixed that by taking smaller steps, so many other things were fixed all at once:

  • Better weight shifts
  • Cleaner footwork
  • Timing
  • Balance
  • Speed
  • And more..!

So my friends, instead of asking yourself what your next dance goal is, try this prompt instead:

What is one bad habit you need/wanna fix?
